It's true, watercolors can be very unforgiving. But when they work they are very rewarding, imbueing the painting with light from within. Watercolors are also faster to create and thereby give quicker rewards to the artist.

Thank you so much. I do tend to lay down the pigment a lot thicker than most. I like it that way. I also use acrylic paint (thinned down) on watercolor paper which produces deeper and more vibrant colors.

Yeah, I tend to treat my watercolors like acrylics when I paint as well, though I've never used acrylics on watercolor paper - the stuff's too expensive :fear:
