The picture is a little deceiving. By carefully shooting it from this point of view it looks rather inviting.
In reality it is quite wild! To the immediate left is a 20 foot granite rise and to the immediate right is the beaver pond flod area. The trail is in the forest to the right and to get there you have to walk over the beaver dam which has at least a six foot water level difference. It is really neat!

Wow sounds like a wonderful place to hike off trail I bet there is so much to see and photograph
